[from Janine]

I've recently begun to think more of how I can help the earth in daily life, by buying more organic food, for example, eating less meat, trying to be frugal and creating less garbage, etc. Taking these practical steps as well as praying is making sense to me. There is a lot of doom and gloom about the effects of global warming, disappearing species, pollution, population growth, loss of arable land, etc. Yet there is so much love for the earth and all of creation in many people's hearts. I pray that we all may keep hope alive, that Love may show me and everyone how to be kind to each other and to our earth and our fellow creatures. That we don't have to accept an end to life, and limited resources - there is a higher way.

One Mind governs all. We all represent Mind, Love. We see what we expect to see. Let me expect to see purity, goodness, life, and not dirt, evil, greed, death. Holding in thought perfection, we realize its reality. This is not glossing over the earth's many problems - this is helping to solve them, by realizing God is creator and sustainer. Greed, ignorance, apathy, cannot ruin God's creation. God is All, and creates and sustains everything, every animal, plant, person. Intelligence and Love govern everyone and everything.

I pray that this consciousness of Love will guide us all every day.

I pray to God, the Creator and our Mother-father through Christ Jesus, the mediator and Redeemer that we may express light and love as stewards of this earth. I seek protection and guidance for those making decisions re: the earth and it's resources and that the beauty refected will not be ravaged further for economic gain or unneccessary habitations but for thoughtful possibilities that can help mankind but not harm nature. "Can God furnish a table in the wilderness, What cannot God do?"
